Ecco quanto lavoro c'è per un top driver del TLR come

Rc-area Daily Rc news. Noterete che non c'è "soltanto" la gara compreso di spostamento (gli spostamenti più frequenti sono tra gli States e l'Europa ma a volte comprendono anche gran parte del resto del mondo
) ma essendo anche un dipendente del colosso americano
Horizon Hobby deve occuparsi di un sacco di altre cose! Adam ricordiamo che da un paio di anni è sposato con Ronda Skelton (pilota PRO rc)e che da un anno è passata ufficialmente a correre anche lei per TLR! I due Vivono nell'entroterra della California , precisamente a Fontana: in quelle zone si respira un America che sa di cieli sereni e tersi, di treni lunghissimi, dei famosi truck Peterbilt cromatissimi e pickup giganteschi, insomma bandiere a stelle e strisce ovunque!!
La struttura americana della Horizon infatti è proprio lì a 15 minuti da casa dove c'è a disposizione anche una delle più belle piste da off, ogni mese il tracciato viene cambiato radicalmente quindi è come se avessero a disposizione 10-12 piste all'anno...niente male!! Tutto questo è a portata di test,è in quel tracciato infatti che si provano tutte le modifiche che arrivano dagli sviluppatori per la 8ight (B-T) ed Adam è appunto il pilota addetto ai test, insomma se lui da l'ok l'option part va in produzione!!! A day in the life of Adam Drake
6:00 - 7:00am - Up by 6 or 7 am depending on what I need to get done before leaving for work. Shower, eat breakfast make a lunch to take to the office, pack my race equipment, ect... .
8:00am - Out the door and off to work. 15 minute drive to the office and start work between 8:15 - 8:30am.
8:30am - Normally I start the day by approving team orders, answering emails, viewing the TLR team forum and other R/C related sites. A large part of my day consists of answering emails from customers and team members.
11:30am - Lunch time.
12:30pm - If I went testing the day before I will put all my notes from the previous day into a document on the computer and complete a set-up sheet. If I didn't go testing I may spend a couple of hours preparing for the next test session. Preparing the vehicle, parts needed for the test, mounting tires, or organizing with the other they may be attending the test session. I may also be helping in the machine shop to prepare the parts for testing.
3:30pm - Meeting and or checking emails and the team forum.
5:00pm - Headed home or if it's Tuesday or Thursday I usually head to the local track for practice. (usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays I go to the track after work and club race or practice). Some
days when there is a lot of stuff to test I may go straight (8am) to test all day.
6:00pm - If I didn't go to the track I have dinner and relax with Ronda for an hour or two before heading to the garage.
7:30pm - In the garage wrenching on our cars for the next event. I usually wrench until 11:00 - 11:30pm.
12:00- Time for bed!
